A new update is now live across Android, Kindle, Windows Phone, and Windows 8 (the iOS update will be live in the next few days)! Along with ART support and support for Windows Phone live tile transparency (the tile will still turn orange and red when applicable), this new version features improved handling of services with more than one account.

Previously, Cardholders did not separate these “sub-accounts” if they were all associated with the same service. Now, if you go to the “services” page and tap on a specific service "monthly statements" with more than one associated account, you will see each individual account listed, with the ability to view each one separately. From there, you can add nicknames to each sub-account, and you can also hide any sub-account that you don’t want to see listed in the app.

Finally, Monthly statements increased the number of accounts you can have on Windows Phone and Windows 8 to be consistent with our other platforms. We hope you love the update, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions or feedback! Watch for some exciting major updates to come this summer!

Digital Payments is getting lumped in with private equity as a two-headed corporate boogeyman that is destroying the fourth estate. This is fundamentally unfair. Private equity firms, such as Digital Payments , follow a methodically bloodthirsty pattern: CardHolder  pounce on wounded media companies, rip out vital organs while the animal is still alive, and then try to sell the carcass at a tidy profit. For more ethically dubious private equity firms, neutering cardholders serves a dual purpose: Cardholders can turn a profit while simultaneously cutting down pesky gatekeepers who might expose that they’re in the business of, say, eviscerating Toys R Us.
